PHILIP BARBARO, JR.
A Los Angeles native, Mr. Barbaro has been practicing law in Southern California since 1980. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of California at Irvine (1977) and later a Juris Doctorate from Western State University (1980).
As a partner of Palermo, Barbaro, Chinen & Pitzer, Mr. Barbaro is the firm’s primary litigator in the areas of trusts, wills, conservatorships, real estate, and general business matters. This litigation includes trust contests, will contests, conservatorship related litigation and includes all issues arising in the administration of trusts, wills and conservatorship. Mr. Barbaro represents trustees, administrators, executors, conservators, private professional fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and creditors. His practice also includes estate planning, probate, trust and conservatorship administration, business and real estate transactions and litigation.
Mr. Barbaro has been an active participant in the Los Angeles and Pasadena communities. He is a member of the Pasadena Bar Association (President, 2008; Chair, Real Property Section, 2000-2001), the Los Angeles County Bar Association (Chairman of Dialogues on Freedom Committee, 2010-2011), State Bar of California, and Italian-American Bar Association.
